Correct. The model had Texas; Texas won 109-59.

• Texas rates 20th of 366 teams, Chicago State 347th: a top-25 team against one of the weakest teams in Division I.
• The edge is mostly Texas’s offense (8th nationally) against Chicago State’s defense (350th).
• Texas has played the 29th-toughest schedule, so its numbers are earned.
• Home court adds 2.7 points for Texas.
• The books have Texas by 42, more than the model’s gap supports, so the spread value is on Chicago State +42.
• Projected total: 150 points.
• Early-season note: about 95% of these numbers are still last season’s.
