Correct. The model had Florida; Florida won 77-67.

• Florida rates 6th of 366 teams, Miami 33rd: a top-25 team against a top-75 team.
• The edge is mostly Florida’s offense (6th nationally) against Miami’s defense (75th).
• Florida has played the 18th-toughest schedule, so its numbers are earned.
• Neutral site: no home-court edge either way.
• The books have Florida by 5.5; the model likes Florida by more than that, so the spread value is on Florida −5.5.
• Projected total 156, in line with the 159 over/under.
• Early-season note: about 95% of these numbers are still last season’s.

Every pick is locked before tip-off and graded from the final score. How the model works.
