Correct. The model had Hawai'i; Hawai'i won 74-73.
Why the model had Hawai'i
- Hawai'i rates 124th of 366 teams, Seattle U 179th: an upper-half team against an upper-half team.
- The edge is mostly Hawai'i’s offense (162nd nationally) against Seattle U’s defense (58th).
- Home court adds 2.7 points for Hawai'i.
- Projected total 145, in line with the 142.5 over/under.
- Early-season note: about 95% of these numbers are still last season’s.
Every pick is locked before tip-off and graded from the final score. How the model works.
