Correct. The model had Clemson; Clemson won 85-71.
Why the model had Clemson
- Clemson rates 56th of 366 teams, Stetson 341st: a top-75 team against one of the weakest teams in Division I.
- The edge is mostly Clemson’s defense (85th nationally) against Stetson’s offense (302nd).
- Home court adds 2.7 points for Clemson.
- The books have Clemson by 22.5; the model likes Clemson by more than that, so the spread value is on Clemson −22.5.
- Projected total: 147 points.
- Early-season note: about 95% of these numbers are still last season’s.
Every pick is locked before tip-off and graded from the final score. How the model works.
